ASSAM exploded this week over meat — BJP workers are strongly protesting that tigers and lions in the zoo should not be given beef.
Vans carrying the meat for big cats in the Guwahati zoo were stopped.
Assam State Zoo has been witnessing protests and dharnas — over the lunch menu of tigers and lions.
No point in adding that anti-Muslim dirty comments are a normal part of such protests.
Assam is on the boil over what zoo animals should eat.
Upper castes advocating vegetarianism and declaring pig/poultry etc as dirty professions have now also condemned those into fish farming. It has been added to untouchable list.
If BJP continued to win elections and the march of Hindutva politics went on unrelentingly, we will see lions and tigers learning to appreciate the subtle tastes of coleslaw. Namak Swaadanusaar!
